Blakely & Weeks-Thome, PLLC is a local Houston, Texas CPA firm providing businesses and individuals with scalable accounting services, and proactive tax planning strategies that grow with your business. Neil A. Blakely
Managing Partner Emeritus, CPA
Neil A. Blakely began his career in public accounting in 1976 with KPMG after graduating in 1974 with a BBA from the University of Texas, and 1976 with a MS Accountancy (concentration in tax) from the University of Houston. He is founding partner for BWT and has practiced continually in Houston for over 40 years, primarily in the areas of oil and gas, law firms and the convenience store industry. Neil has extensive experience in tax planning, complex business transactions, developing tax strategies, and assurance services for businesses and high net worth individuals. Neil is an active member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Heidi Weeks-Thome
Partner, CPA
Heidi Weeks-Thome began her career in accounting while a student doing bookkeeping for 13 oil and gas entities. Since then, she has spent most of her career working in public accounting. Heidi's experience has been primarily in taxation in the areas of oil and gas, real estate development, and the design industries. She extensive experience in accounting, tax planning, complex business transactions, developing tax strategies, and assurance services for small to mid-size businesses and high net worth individuals. Heidi attended the University of Texas, University of Houston, and graduated from the University of Phoenix. Heidi is an active member of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Kelsey Haag
Partner, CPA, CGMA
Kelsey Haag is a graduate of the University of Houston Clear Lake and is a licensed CPA and CGMA. Her professional experience includes providing assistance with tax planning and compliance for domestic and international clients. Kelsey's areas of focus include high net worth individuals, trusts, and closely held business

Patrick Blakely
Partner, CPA
Patrick Blakely is a CPA who began his career at PKF Texas working on a wide range of projects including oil & gas, real estate, taxation for high net worth individuals, foreign reporting, and payroll tax issues. Following his time at PKF, Patrick worked in the Worldwide Tax Group for a large international developer. His experience included dealing with issues relating to large closely held partnerships such as partnership basis, 754 elections, tangible property regulations, tax planning, and detailed profit sharing arrangements. Patrick is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma, and a Masters of Science in Acccountancy from the University of Houston.
Sandra Laredo
Professional Staff
Sandra Laredo attended Houston Baptist University and has been with BWT and its predecessors since 2009. Sandra has significant experience with Quickbooks and prepares bookkeeping for some of the firm's oil & gas clients. Her experience also includes tax preparation for individuals and small businesses. Sandra is bi-lingual in Spanish.
Emily Price
Professional Staff
Emily Price has been with BWT and its predecessor firms since 2006. She has extensive experience with Quickbooks and general accounting functions and is in charge of the bookkeeping for many of BWT's non oil & gas clients. In addition to being our go to for preparing all forms of payroll returns, Emily also prepares personal returns, trust returns, and small business tax returns. She is a native Houstonian and attended the University of Texas.
Ellen Walker
Professional Staff
Ellen Walker has been with BWT and its predecessor firms since 2007. She prepares individual tax returns and works in Wolfepak doing oil and gas bookkeeping for many of BWT's oil and gas clients. She derives great satisfaction from helping her clients keep their books in order and staying organized. Ellen attended Stephen F. Austin, and when not working she enjoys quilting, scrapbooking, travelling, and spending time with her three children.
Erin Wolfinger

Erin Wolfinger is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and joined BWT in August 2009. Before joining the firm, she had extensive experience in accounting for the legal sector. Since joining BWT, she has become proficient in oil & gas accounting and is our Wolfepak specialist handling the management of joint interest billings, revenue distributions, and other high-level accounting functions related to oil & gas operating. Erin prepares mostly business tax returns related to the oil & gas, real estate, and legal industries. When Erin is not working, she enjoys sporting events, travelling, and spending time with her family.
Cindy Brown
Administrator
Cindy Brown is a graduate from UT-Austin with a degree in education and has been working with BWT since 2013. She has significant experience with general book keeping functions and office administration and over sees book keeping, bill paying, payroll, insurance, and invoicing for the firm.
Stephanie Parker
Administrator
Stephanie Parker is a graduate of the University of Houston and has previous experience in the nonprofit field. Stephanie oversees processing and delivery of all tax returns for the firm. She also maintains all client files, client due date tracking, and assists with the day to day operations of the office. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends - preferably near lakes and beaches!
